Britney Spears has initially premiered a music video for her latest single "Criminal". In it, she dumps her rude boyfriend for a criminal played by her real-life love Jason Trawick. She kicks the guy in the balls before leaving with her knight in shining armor.
Sparks instantly fly drawing Britney and Jason to a number of steamy love scenes including a hot-and-heavy one in the shower. Not only does she become a passionate partner in bed, but the southern belle also turns into an excellent sidekick in his crime spree.
However, She's criticized for carrying a gun during the video shoot. "It's images like this, with popstars glamorizing gangs, which means that some young people... get drawn in," critic say.
In response to the protest, Britney issued a defensive statement insisting that she didn't mean to offend anyone. "The video is a fantasy story featuring Britney's boyfriend, Jason Trawick, which literally plays out the lyrics of a song written three years before the riots ever happened," the statement read. It also seems the video has been pulled from the internet as Youtube says it is no longer available due to copyright claims. Enjoy the video with the lyrics below:
