Love-struck Ann Ama Asiamah has joined the league of Nigerian actresses wanting to date the 30-year-old football star.

The fashion designer turned actress said she is totally in love with Soviet-born Odemwingie, who has been in poor form of late, struggling to reproduce any consistency since last season when he scored 15 goals.

Miss Asiamah said: “I love Osaze naturally, not because of his money. I know he has too many Nigerian girls running after him, but God has destined two of us to live as husband and wife and there is nothing anybody can do about it.”

The teenage actress, whose father is Dutch and late mother is from Ghana, said she started making moves to meet Odemwingie when she was just 16, in 2010 during the African Nations Cup in Angola, and was at the stadium on the day the Super Eagles played Ghana.

Despite claiming to communicate with Odemwingie on Facebook she has yet to meet him. But she is planning a trip to the UK in the near future.

Odemwingie, who was recently linked with a move to Fulham, is understood to be single but has been linked in the past to businesswoman and PR consultant Freda Edewor.

We wonder if the West Brom striker will be inundated with Valentines cards this February 14?
